We are offering a chance to join our Sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR).  You will work directly with the Sales Manager and the Sales team in ensuring a continuous flow of validated sales leads.

Responsibilities: As part of the Sales Team, you’ll be:

  • Developing a system for prospecting and managing inbound and outbound leads
  • Promoting AELER’s products and services through various outreach mediums such as, but not limited to cold calls, emails, Linkedin, and other communication tools and mediums,  to prospective clients
  • Validate and qualify each lead
  • Create  customer profiles for potential validated customers for the Sales team to take over. Customer profile questions to be provided and information to be entered into the CRM.
  • Setting up introductory meetings / calls between the prospective customer and the sales team
  • Diligently documenting and sharing  all relevant customer information on a continuous basis via the use of Salesforce
  • Systematically manage leads, follow-ups, and reporting
  • Meet weekly targets which will include : number of outreaches / calls, number of qualifying meetings, number of qualified and interested customers

Experience: To flourish in this role, you’ll need...

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a SDR with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or experience in having used any other CRM software
  • Experience in developing and managing Inbound and Outbound Sales Lead strategies
  • Experience with using prospecting tools and techniques
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.  Working proficiency in any other languages would be an advantage (French, Spanish, German, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities; empathic listener;  persuasive speaker
  • A self-starter, curious, analytical, detail-oriented, resilient, a hunting character, and have the proven ability to perform in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
  • Some experience from the logistics industry preferred but not essential
