High-growth Logtech company looking for experienced Head of IoT.

During its scale up phase, AELER’s Head of IoT will have the role of ensuring that the IoT component of AELER’s innovation exceeds customers expectations both in terms of functionality and reliability. She/he will have the responsibility to plan, formalise and structure the growth of AELER’s IoT activities, from product roadmap and strategic decisions, to the organisation of the IoT team and budget allocation. She/he will be responsible to coordinate with other product development and business activities in the company to ensure that the roadmap is aligned with major product releases.

AELER is an AI-driven company building the technologies to automate in-transit freight logistics. We focus on robust data collection for predictive and prescriptive analytics of the end-to-end supply chain.

To support our end-to-end services, AELER has designed a next-generation intermodal container capable of monitoring in real-time the container and its cargo while processing the data at the edge to maximize reactivity.

Experience - Crucial

Successfully led the product release and industrialization of a complex IoT device and managed its development team.
Strong experience in IoT product management (Withings, Garmin, Apple, Samsung, ABB, Bosch, ...)
Product oriented mindset, focused on time to market optimization
Excellent leadership skills, able to communicate in cross-functional teams
Fluent in english

Experience - Optional

Technical background, master degree in an engineering field
Well established industrial network
Expertise in FreeRTOS, Mbed Linux, low and ultra-low power IoT devices (sleep and deep sleep mode)

Responsibilities

Play an active role in the company’s IoT product strategy
Draft and execute on the plan regarding AELER’s IoT product and industrial roadmap
Look after AELER’s IoT team
Propose budget & resources allocation
Liaise with the business and operational teams to ensure the product exceeds AELER customer’s expectations
Coordinate company IoT training programs
