Responsibilities : As part of the IoT Team, you will...

  • Run unit and integration tests on our hardware devices and test benches
  • Contribute to development and roll-out of test benches
  • Implement test automation and test management for embedded software and hardware testing 
  • Develop new test cases in collaboration with the IoT Test Lead and the Development Team
  • Communicate with our Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Technicians to understand the issues that happen in the field and replicate them in our lab
  • Assist in defining and reviewing test procedures for end of production
  • Assist our Electronics Engineering team in validating new hardware design changes
  • Update documentation on test procedures, test requirements and suggest improvements based on the results of testing
  • Help generate reports on various system metrics (stability, battery life, accuracy, etc.) 

Experience : To flourish in this role, you’ll need...

  • Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a testing environment
  • Python, C(++) programming experience 
  • Previous experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Experience with version control, specifically git
  • Experience with test management and requirements management
  • Comfortable in an embedded Linux environment (Raspberry Pi for example)
  • Basics in electronics and willingness to learn (wiring diagrams and cabling, taking measurements with a multimeter and oscilloscope, basic diagnostics and repair, soldering, rework)
  • Fluent in English.
